Belgian Family Brewers is the authenticity label for Belgian family-brewed beer. Only Belgian breweries that have been brewing beer for at least 50 years in a row can become members of the non-profit association. Together they represent 15% of the Belgian beer brewers, with a total of more than 1500 years of experience. Currently 14 breweries are members. The non-profit association promotes the historical and independent family breweries who add more value to the identity and authenticity of the Belgian Brewer’s body. A noble cause, knowing that brewing is a craftsmanship which Belgian families have been passing on from generation to generation.
