The final rebuilding works in Mechelen were completed in order to achieve a new and improved configuration. A bigger production unit was installed and ready to take off and the hotel and brasserie welcome everybody who wants to enjoy a unique and authentic experience. In Blaasveld, the 17th century gin distillery is purchased, two authentically manufactured pot stills are installed and the production of the Golden Carolus single malt whisky started. The double heart of the brewery/distillery beats strong. With the distilling of the malt of Golden Carolus Tripel, a 400 year old family circle is closed. After years and years of hard work, Charles proudly opened his brewery to the public.
