Today it is almost 400 years ago that the miller’s dynasty Van Breedam distilled gin on the Molenberg in Blaasveld. From 1637 until 1927 to be precise. In 1872 Louis Van Breedam and his sister leave the Molenberg to become brewers in Mechelen. Until today the Molenberg is still property of the family and the tradition continues.
