Charles Leclef, Michel Van Breedam’s nephew, was brought up in the brewery. At a young age he picked up the knowledge and dedication to eventually take the helm in 1990. Although he gave the brewery a complete overhaul, that was not enough for Charles. In 2003 he daringly dreamt of distilling beer to whisky in the old Molenberg. This whisky distillery is the perfect marriage between two family traditions: brewing and distilling.
