20 international awards in 5 years time for Gouden Carolus Single Malt
Gouden Carolus Single Malt won a silver medal for the 5th time at the renowned 'International Wine & Spirit Competition'. It is the 20th international award in 5 years' time. Belgian whisky is increasingly being put on the map.
20th international award
In 2014, the Belgian whisky won silver for the first time at the "International Wine & Spirit Competition". This year it once again won a silver medal at the very same tasting competition. It is already the 20th international award for Gouden Carolus Single Malt. New this year is that the jury is now also publishing scores and tasting notes. Gouden Carolus Single Malt scored no less than 91 points out of 100. In their tasting notes, the jury members wrote about “pronounced vanilla and coconut influence with notes of sweet stewed fruits”.
