Aurora
Introduction
Aurora is a limited edition released to mark the 10th anniversary of the Molenberg Distillery.
The morning hour has gold in its mouth, even sauternes wine producers know that. By waiting until fall to harvest their grapes, the morning dew makes the grapes even more sweet.
This whisky was first aged in Bourbon and Het Anker casks, followed by a finish of 18 months on sauternes casks. These release full-bodied hints of honey and apple during the ageing process. This whisky, with a full and dry aftertaste, fits perfectly with a sweet dessert.
