Gouden Carolus Single Malt 46%

"The Gouden Carolus Single Malt is a fine Belgian whisky distilled from the mash of the Gouden Carolus Tripel beer. A first in Belgium are the hand-hammered copper pot stills in which the pure grain mash is distilled. This creates a light, clear distillate. The subsequent maturation in first-fill bourbon barrels and "anchor" barrels (oak barrels processed by the cooper according to our own specifications) results in a fine whisky with a full-bodied, balanced taste. The subtle fruit aromas are beautifully refined with notes of wood and vanilla."

Gouden Carolus Blaasveld Broek 10.4%

"Blaasveld Broek refers to the magnificent Het Broek nature reserve next to the De Molenberg distillery in Blaasveld. For centuries, peat (dried moorland) was dug from here, which was used by local residents primarily as fuel, but also for drying barley malt. Accordingly, the local tradition of peat cutting gained in importance with the whisky. The Gouden Carolus Blaasveld Broek is distilled from a specially composed brew with peated barley malt. This gives the golden yellow whisky a mild smoky note in combination with full-bodied oak and vanilla aromas."

"The Gouden Carolus Sherry Oak (46% vol) is a special Geschmackreation from the Brennerei De Molenberg. Genuinely the prize-winning Gouden Carolus Single Malt Whiskey is produced with the same sort of mash from the Gouden Carolus Tripel Bier. After the Basic Reifung, the Whiskey is produced in pure Oloroso-Sherry-Fässern noble wine, which is 100% American-made. The experience is a more intensive, fruitful whiskey with notes of fresh fruit, vanilla and bitter chocolate."
